ROSS Juniors' men finally broke their league duck with a thumping 3-0 win at Tidenham, giving them hope of climbing out of the North Gloucestershire One drop zone.
A Keiran Young brace and one from Tom Thorne secured the first three-point haul of the season.
But Hellenic One basement side Newent Town's woes continued, despite the addition of former Hereford United player Tyler Weir in the dug out alongside boss Romayne Thomas.
They were walloped 7-0 at Abingdon Town, six of the goals coming in a disastrous second half, and Ashley Bath living up to his name by being sent off for an early bath.
Ruardean Hill Rangers also lost 3-1 at home to Henbury & Rockleaze in the Gloucestershire County League.
Hill hit the bar after two minutes but then found themselves 3-0 down after just 18 minutes, before Steve Clark netted a penalty consolation on 61 minutes.
Lydbrook Athletic won 2-0 at home to Viney St Swithins in Gloucestershire Northern Two to sit sixth.
Huntley also won 4-2 at Horsley to make it through to the next round of the Herefordshire Junior Cup, but Howle Hill bowed out 4-1 on penalties after a 0-0 draw at home to Hereford Pegasus.
Mitcheldean smashed hosts Broadwell 2nds 6-1 to go top of North Gloucestershire Premier, Adam Beaumont and Sam Dowle with braces, and James York and Damian Jones one apiece.
And Longhope marched on at the top of NG1, winning 2-1 away to Staunton & Corse 2nds thanks to a brace from former Juniors player Florin Crainic.
Mitcheldean 2nds lost a thriller 5-4 at home to Whitecroft 2nds in NG2, Connor Dix with two and Jean Alveraz and Gavin Smith one apiece.
But Ruardean Hill A were thumped 6-1 away to Painswick 3rds in the Primary North Cup.
Ross Juniors will be looking to make it back-to-back wins at Yorkley on Saturday (December 7), while Newent will hope for a change of fortune at home to Ludlow.
