A SHOW of light and sound help Ross-on-Wye celebrate a great British tradition of Guy Fawkes night once again this year.

This event, hosted by Ross on Wye Lions Club and their volunteer helpers, brought young and old, families and individuals together to ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ at the lights in the sky – and this year the lights on stage with the skills of a female fire juggler to admire.

There was plenty for the over a thousand attendees to enjoy before the main event, food and drink supplied by local traders and the Rowing Club made a food court to welcome people on site. There were lit novelties and a bouncy castle for the young before the light shows began.

The amount of the donations collected at the event are still being counted and the amount will be released in due course.
