ROSS-ON-WYE’S annual Fireworks Extravaganza is taking place this Saturday, November 2.

The event, organised by the Ross Lions Club, will be staged at the town’s Rowing Club field, with access being gained from Trenchard Street. The event will be raising funds for local good causes.

The gates will open at 6pm where there will be a food court with various hot food stalls serving burgers, hotdogs, fish and chips, pizzas and hot drinks.

A bouncy castle will keep the children entertained and sales of individual light sticks will enable everyone to be seen.

The evening’s entertainment will begin just after 7pm with a skilled fire-juggler that will thrill and amaze the audience with its daring and dexterity.

The firework display itself will start at 7.30pm and set the sky above with spectacular effects and amazing, vivid colours lighting up the sky, concluding an unforgettable evening.

The event organisers request that people should park in one of the town’s many carparks, as there is no parking on site and dress appropriately for the weather on the day.

Tickets for the Fireworks Extravaganza are priced at £8 for adults, £4 for children and a family ticket is £20. Card payments will be accepted at the entrance gates. No unaccompanied children will be admitted.
