THE Midlands Air Ambulance charity is holding a Street-Smart workshop fundraiser in Ross-on-Wye next week.

The aim of the Street – Smart workshop on November 11, is the active process of being streetwise, enhancing your abilities of dealing with difficult, threatening situations through strategies and tactics used by the military and security forces.

Teenagers with accompanying adults are welcome to attend the event at Ross Health and Fitness at units three/four in Homs Road from 7.15pm.

No entrance fee is charged, however a small donation to the charity would be greatly appreciated. To reserve a place email [email protected].

Each month the charity flies approximately 291 missions, costing around £11.5 million per year – an amount that is funded wholly by public donations.

The air ambulance charity has also launched its seasonal merchandise collection, which has already proven to be a hit amongst supporters.

This year’s collection includes popular new additions of a sterling silver helicopter shaped money box and a children’s activity.

The range would not be complete without the charity’s beloved Christmas cards with heartfelt messages
