RESIDENTS from Ross Court care home recently set sail on the Spirit of Freedom for a mini cruise along the Gloucester to Sharpness Canal.

The cruise started from Frampton-on-Severn and stopped at the beautiful spot at Purton where residents enjoyed a picnic lunch provided by the home’s hospitality team.
Agda-Claudia Vasilateanu general manager of Ross Court said: “Our residents had a whale of a time. Adventures that take place outside of the home are a regular event for the residents.
“The day was a lot of fun, residents were able to enjoy a beautiful day on the canal which was quite therapeutic.
Ross Court Care Home in Ross-on-Wye is run by Barchester Healthcare and provides residential care for 37 residents from respite care to long term stays.
