Ross-on-Wye Rugby Club was at Hereford Cathedral last weekend along with hundreds of rugby fans to catch a glimpse of the Rugby World Cup.
Members of the squad were invited to have their photograph taken with the Webb Ellis trophy and play tag rugby in the Cathedral grounds.
With clubs from across Herefordshire in attendance, it was a celebration of grassroots rugby.
World Cup winner in 2003, Jason Leonard, said: “Local clubs like Ross are the lifeblood of our game.
“Look at the current England squad, Chris Robshaw and George Ford, don’t start at Harlequins or Bath, they start at youth clubs like Ross.”
Former England captain, Jason, was on hand for photographs with rugby’s most famous trophy.
Coach of Ross under 13s, Adrian Osborne, said: “It’s fantastic to come here and see this trophy, it inspires them; one of our kids said earlier, ‘in a few years time I’ll be holding this up."
