THE British Eventing National Championships will return to Hartpury for a second successive year.
Following a successful event in 2024, the Forest of Dean site’s state-of-the-art equestrian centre will once again welcome horses and riders from across the country.
The 2025 event will start on Tuesday, August 5, running through to Sunday 10 August.
British Eventing said it had decided to return to Hartpury College and University following outstanding feedback from riders, owners and spectators.
The 2024 championships saw thrilling competition, exceptional courses and a championship atmosphere, running alongside the well-established NAF Five Star International Hartpury Horse Trials.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor Rosie Scott-Ward said: “Following the success of the championships at Hartpury this year, we’re thrilled to be hosting them once again in 2025.
“Having the championships run alongside our international classes creates a real carnival atmosphere, celebrating and showcasing our sport.
“With a longer lead-in time, we look forward to making the 2025 championships better than ever.
“Eric Winter and Jump 1 will once again create world-class tracks over exceptional going, and our all-weather facilities allow us to withstand whatever the British weather has in store.
“As in 2024, every effort will be made to ensure horses and humans have everything they need to make their stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.”
A number of sponsorship opportunities are available for 2025 and tickets for spectators will go on sale early in the new year.
British Eventing CEO Rosie Williams said: “We're delighted that Hartpury University and College are once again hosting our prestigious National Championships.
“Last year was a resounding success and with the help of Hartpury and their fabulous facilities, we're looking forward to continuing to establish this as a major event in our calendar for our members of all levels to aspire to.”
