LOCAL trainer Ryan Potter, based at Caradoc Stables, is looking forward to an exciting few weeks for his stable, with key runners in upcoming races.
One of his standout entries is Jetoile, set to compete this Friday, January 17, at Market Rasen in the Unibet Middle Distance Chase Series Veterans’ Handicap Chase.
Speaking to the Ross Gazette, Mr Potter shared his plans for Jetoile: "He runs Friday at Market Rasen in a veterans' chase. Hopefully he runs well, and he will most likely stay in veteran company the rest of the season."
In an interesting turn, Jetoile will be ridden by Dylan Johnson, following the recent retirement of Daryl Jacob. Mr Potter explained: "Now Daryl Jacob is retired, Dylan Johnson will take the ride."
Mr Potter’s stable is also buzzing with anticipation for Ithaka, who has shown significant improvement in recent weeks. Mr Potter added, "Ithaka seems on a real upward curve and has entries for both Rasen and Haydock this weekend."
Mr Potter has three entries at Market Rasen on Friday, January 17, and one at Haydock on Saturday, January 18:
