ASTON Ingham Cricket Club's Ladies Team are looking for a sponsor for the back of their new playing and training top for 2025 and 2026.
The squad of more than 25 train regularly and will be playing in Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation Winter and Summer Leagues as well as a number of tournaments and other friendly and inter-club games.
A club spokesperson said: “They even toured overseas to La Manga this year, so who knows how far they will tour next year and beyond with a new logo on their back!”
The cost is £400 per year for two years and to find out more, contact Ladies Captain Lizzie Green via a DM at www.facebook.com/astoninghamcricketclub
Meanwhile, 10 young members of the club have been selected to represent four different counties next year across Glamorgan Cricket, Gloucestershire Cricket, Herefordshire and Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
Melissa Watson has been selected for Worcestershire U18s and Women's Rapids, while Hettie Duthie and Lauren Powell will be part of the U14 set up at Glamorgan.
Called up at U11 level are Billy Davies (Glos), Jack Davis and Joseph Gardner (both Herefordshire), and William King and Harvey Powell (both Glamorgan).
Alfie Davies and Alex Long have also been called up for the U10s at Gloucestershire.
The club spokesperson added: "The Winter training programmes have begun! It’s a fantastic achievement for the individuals, and the club, and a testament to the strength of our coaching.
"The commitment of coaches past and present has helped build the strength of our Junior Section and we’re proud to field such strong U9, U11, U13 and U15 teams as well as host our popular Friday night All Stars and Dynamos, as that’s where it all begins.
"Thank you to everyone that has played a part in AICC’s junior development – whether coaching to grounds prep, scoring to driving players to games and encouraging from the sidelines – and whether you’re doing it now or did it in the past, everyone has played a part in the club’s success and we hope you’re as proud as we are."
