Ross Photo Club visited Hopes Ash Farm at Hope Mansell and were given access under the watchful eye of Rob Davies.

Rob guided the group through the farm, explaining what goes on and allowed the club to take pictures of the working farm.

The club’s publicity officer Sandra Walding told the Gazette: “It was a fantastic morning, informative, great to see the animals and hear about the technology behind the scenes. It was well attended with 12 members arriving to hot coffee and home made cake by Rachel.”

The club collected £90 in lieu of the visit and donated it to Air Ambulance.

UK Air Ambulances are focussed on providing vital national funding support, raising awareness, enabling advancements in patient care, advocating on key issues and policy, as well as being the central hub for the exchange of information and knowledge across the air ambulance sector. Their work is vital because air ambulance charities form part of the UK’s front-line emergency response services, making lifesaving missions to around 80 people a day.
