The Ross Cancer Support Group will hold their next monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 5 at St Mary's Church Hall from 6pm to 8pm.  This will give the group a chance to discuss last month's meeting with Chris and Rachael from the Macmillan Renton Unit who gave a presentation about the future of the service. They would like some feedback from the group members regarding 'ideas and suggestions for the future' and hope to do so during the evening. 

A spokesperson for the group said: “Please do come along if you would like to offer some suggestions, or would like to find out more about other support services available  for cancer patients and their families and carers.

“There will be some light refreshments available throughout the evening.”

Paul Baker, Chairman received a cheque of £800 recently at the Ross Penyard Singers rehearsal, which had been raised at their concerts last year.  

He said: "This has come at a time of need for us  and will enable the meetings to  continue for the foreseeable future,  to support those who have affected by cancer in the Ross and the surrounding district.  

“Having attended their concert in December I was so impressed with the quality of the music and the enjoyment it brought to the singers and audience alike. We are so grateful for this contribution"
