A SPECIAL charity quiz night is set to take place in Ross-on-Wye in memory of Karl Parker, who tragically passed away from sepsis at the age of 61.

Organised by his daughter, Lisa Parker, the event at the Conservative Club in Ross on Saturday, March 22 aims to raise awareness of the condition while supporting Sepsis Research’s Feat which is the UK’s only sepsis charity dedicated to research and awareness.

The quiz will feature a mix of Elvis, 60s, and 80s questions, reflecting Karl’s favourite things. There will also be a live band and a raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses, including a cash prize for the winning team.

Tickets, priced at £10 per person, with the admission price including food, can be purchased in advance or paid for in cash on the night, with wristbands provided at the door.

Lisa hopes the event, which starts at 7pm, will not only raise vital funds but also increase awareness of sepsis symptoms, helping others recognise the condition and seek urgent medical attention.
