NEW double yellow lines are being introduced at several pinch points across the area.

Herefordshire Council has confirmed new ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions at several locations in the greater Ross-on-Wye area.

Further parking restrictions are being brought in at Goodrich, Kerne Bridge and Symonds Yat East to prevent blockages by parked cars.

Double yellow lines are also being introduced in Alton Street, Alton Road and Camp Road in Ross, at junctions and where obstruction and visibility issues have been identified.

A council spokesperson said most of the work to set up the new restrictions has been completed, “but there is a small amount left to do, which we anticipate happening in March.”

The council stated the proposals were supported by the majority of local residents.
