A Royal Mail postbox that was put behind bars whilst scaffolding was being erected around it is now accessible again, having been boxed in.
The postbox, located on the side of the town’s historic Market House, was initially fenced off whilst workmen constructed scaffolding to surround the historic building’s renovation.
And now having been boxed in, the postbox is once again accessible for public use.
A spokeswoman for Ross Town Council confirmed the postbox had only been blocked while scaffolding was being erected over health and safety concerns.
“The post box is now accessible and will remain so throughout the renovation work of the Market House,” she said.
