A NEW piece of play equipment has been installed at the Ropewalk thanks to funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The Ross-on-Wye Town Council project features Canopus, a piece of interactive playground equipment, which brings a new dimension to outdoor play.

Designed as a space station, it offers children a unique opportunity to embark on an engaging and challenging adventure.

At the heart of Canopus lies a solid central core, serving as both a hub for planning and observation, allowing young explorers to strategise their next move.

The open triangle and play shell features provide exciting climbing and seating options. Canopus is an innovative way for children to develop essential motor skills, and build confidence by combining both play and learning.
