A MERCEDES vehicle has been seized by police after the driver had parked up in the services area in Ross-on-Wye.

Officers from West Mercia Police's roads team posted last week that the driver had been reported for committing a number of offences which ultimately resulted in the vehicle being seized.

The officer stated: “It was a bad start to the week for the driver, who thought they could get away while disqualified, driving under the influence of drugs and driving without having valid insurance on the vehicle.

“The driver of the Mercedes CLA 220D was arrested by police officers in Netherton Road in Ross, off the A449.

The driver will appear at magistrates court in due course charged with the three motoring offences.
