A LOCAL developer, selling at least one home a week in Ross-On-Wye, is urging prospective buyers to act fast.

The homebuilder, Edenstone, has made a successful start to the year, with eight reservations already being made, leaving eight homes available which are ready for people to move into.

Richard Morris, Edenstone’s sales director said: ‘We’ve experienced a mini boom here at St Mary’s Garden Village since the start of the year, achieving a steady sales rate of selling one home a week.

“This has included people we’ve been working with for a while and new enquiries, with all keen to be apart of this vibrant community.’

“There’s a sense of urgency among buyers for two reasons, impending changes to stamp duty, which could add thousands of pounds to the cost of buying a home and the fact that we’re nearing a sell-out.

“The good news for existing homeowners is that part exchange is available to help them wrap up a quick sale without complicated chains that can cause delays.

“If you sell and buy this way you should be able to complete before the end of March, before the extra stamp duty comes into effect.”

The development at St Mary’s Garden Village, include a three- bedroom detached croft style property, as well as three styles of four-bedroom detached designs. With prices beginning at £350,000 and few properties have the added advantage of having solar panels to reform their energy efficiency.

Potential homeowners will be able to benefit from the amount of open space available locally with the new community offering various spaces and a net-zero community hub available for residents.

The showrooms and sales centre are open from 10am to 5.30pm from Thursday to Monday.
