The annual joint Ross Lions and Ross Rotary pancake races will again this year be held on Broad Street in the Town Centre, Ross on Wye on Sunday 11th February. Registration is from 11am at the Market House.
The event will be opened at 12 midday by the Mayor of Ross on Wye, Cllr. Louis Stark. There will be races for all ages from toddlers to adults and teams of four are welcome ( pans and pancakes are provided !). The Mayor will present medals to all winners and certificates to all who race.
There are special prizes for children’s fancy dress, the winner of the adult fancy dress race and a trophy for the winning team.
The races take place in Broad Street so the road will be closed that morning until the event ends in the afternoon. The organisers wish to thank all the community in advance for their support of this fun event.
This is a free, annual, family event that brightens up the cold beginning of February, so come along, join in the fun and bask in the warmth of its festivities.
