NEW five-star food hygiene ratings have been awarded to several local outlets.

They include Erol's Courtyard Cafe at Church Street, Newent; Flames Pizza & Kebab House at High Street, Mitcheldean and the Rose & Crown at Playley Green, Redmarley.

The Colliery Cafe at Hopewell Colliery, Speech House Road, Broadwell, Coleford, and the Dog And Muffler Inn at Joyford, Coleford have also been rated five star.
