IT'S been 50 years since ABBA announced their arrival by winning the Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo, and they have filled our lives with music ever since.
And local fans have the chance to thank them for the music this month, when West End Abba tribute show Mania wings in to Monmouth's Blake Theatre to celebrate the time when the Swedish pop maestros ruled the airwaves.
Dig out those platforms, dust down those flares, and join in with such classics as Mamma Mia, Voulez Vous, Dancing Queen, Gimme!, Gimme!, Gimme!, Winner Takes It All, Super Trouper, Money, Money, Money, and many more.
The production was created in 1999 and played its first shows in 2000 before going on to play for 18 weeks at London's Strand Theatre.
Highlights for Mania also included playing a television special viewed by more than 11 million people and broadcast throughout Europe, when fellow performers included original members of the ABBA band, stars from the musical Mamma Mia, and even the iconic Bjorn Ulveaus made an appearance.
Mania: The Abba Tribute is at Monmouth's Blake Theatre on Saturday, September 28, at 7.30pm.
Tickets £25 are available from the box office or via www.theblaketheatre.org
