TV presenter Richard Hammond will be officially switching on his home town’s Christmas lights.
The Hamster, as he is known, will be doing the onours in Ross-on-Wye, to help kickstart the town’s festive celebrations.
Taking place in the town centre on Sunday, November 27, the Christmas extravaganza will include more than 70 stalls selling an array of wonderful gifts, food and drink.
There will also be a Santa’s Grotto, live music and a visit by festive meanie the Grinch.
The celebrations, organised by Ross-on-Wye Town Council, run from 11am to 5pm, with the lights being switched on at 4.30pm.
Richard Hammond has lived near Ross-on-Wye for more than 10 years and is a popular TV presenter on shows such as The Grand Tour and Richard Hammond’s workshop.
