PARENTS in Herefordshire have been told which primary school their child will be attending in September 2025.

Herefordshire Council has made 1,573 offers of places in primary schools across the county.

The council made 1,520 offers for first preferences, which is 96.6 per cent of the total offers with second preference being 42, which is 2.7 per cent of the total offers with a cumulative success rate of 99.3 per cent.

As in previous years, Herefordshire schools continue to be a net importer of pupils, with more pupils from neighbouring counties requesting places in the county’s schools than Herefordshire pupils requesting places in other counties.

The council promotion of its online application service, which was used by 98 per cent of applicants.
