HEREFORDSHIRE Council has revealed that more roads in the county are to be repaired.

It has awarded a contract with Tarmac Trading Ltd up to the value of £213,570 for resurfacing works now under way.

This includes the works on the minor road between Whitchurch and Llangrove,

A further £282,477 is to be spent with Tarmac on “pre-surface dressing patching works” on a further four C-class roads to the south of the county.

The other local roadworks being funded by the two works programmes is the C1230 from B4348 to Knolton Brook, between Kilpeck and Much Dewchurch; the C1261 from Bogmarsh Lane to Upper Bowl Cottage, Little Dewchurch; the C1234 Little Hill to Old Hall, between Ocop and Harewood End.
