MIDLANDS Air Ambulance Charity is flying in to set up a store in Ross-on-Wye later this month.

To help with the new shop, which opens on December 20 at a vacant premises in Gloucester Road, the charity is calling on local people to join its team of volunteers at its brand-new facility.

The charity is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to help support the vital service that provides lifesaving care across the region.

The charity, which relies on donations to maintain its emergency medical operations, is seeking volunteers for a variety of roles within the new shop in Ross, including positions on the shop floor, in the stock room, and window dressing.

Volunteering is a rewarding opportunity for those looking to make a positive impact in their community.

Whether you’re interested in assisting customers, sorting and pricing donated items, or helping with day-to-day operations, there is a role for everyone. And by becoming a volunteer with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, you will make a meaningful difference by supporting life-saving services in the local area; gain valuable experience in retail, customer service, and charity work.

When the new shop opens, savvy shoppers are invited to come along and pick up those last-minute gifts or party outfits for the festive season.

The new store will offer a wide range of pre-loved items, from clothing and accessories to homeware and toys. Donations of quality pre-loved items will also be welcomed.

“and all funds raised will go directly towards funding Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s critical missions and save lives.”
