At a very wet and windy Dudley Kingswinford, last Sunday, Ross looked to add some silverware to their season as they took on Yardlians of Birmingham in the North Midlands Vase Final. It was a close encounter but Yardlians were able to hold on and deny Ross a winning end to their season. With a much bigger pack it was Yardlians who got on the front foot first, showing control in the set piece and at ruck time. Ross, however, were able to control procedings with some strong defensive work with Casey Morgan, Chris Thomas and Gavin Oates preventing Yarlians gaining ground with some strong tackling around the rucks.
