In a stunning display of skill and determination, Tilly Stoneham, a Year 9 student from John Kyrle High School, clinched the individual gold medal at the prestigious Cricklands Championships of Great Britain. Originally attending the three-day event to gain experience, Tilly’s unwavering focus and drive saw her rise to the top in an intensely competitive class.
From the get-go, Tilly’s passion for equestrian sports was evident. Those who know her speak of her motivation and determination when it comes to competing. Throughout the championship, even under immense pressure, Tilly’s concentration never wavered, a testament to her dedication to the sport.
She recently enrolled in the Young Equestrian Leaders Award (YELA) and has been proactive in giving back to the community. Over the holidays, Tilly volunteered extensively within the equestrian industry, aiming to achieve her Bronze Level. True to form, she completed this with the same zeal she brings to competitions.
