The ladies section club championships were held over two days at South Herefordshire Golf Club on June 18-20. The weather was amazing, and everyone enjoyed the event. After day one  there was a tie for first place in the gross competition,  with a clear front runner in the net competition.  Following completion of day two, the winner of the gross competition was Emma Breakspear, who had to pull out a personal best, to beat Jo Spiers into second place by just one shot.   Julie Davies maintained first place in the net competition, and achieved an amazing personal best on both days.   Congratulations should also go to Jo Spiers and Deb Griffiths,  who also acheived personal bests on day two.   The proprietors Paul and Sarah presented a bottle of fiz to the winners and Julie and Emma will receive their trophies at the presentation day in September.
