The South Herefordshire seniors final fixture ended with an emphatic victory over Monmouth Golf Club 6-2. Captain Fred led from the front partnered by Roy Pipe winning 5&4. There were also wins for Roger Barnes & Brian Spencer 4&2; Henry Rivers & David Rippe 4&2; Richard Hammett & Barry Howells 5&4 and Eifion Rees & Terry Gibson 5&3. Malcolm Connah & Mike Bishop and Mick Proctor & Roger Watkins halved their matches. Peter Sawyer & Tony Haile lost their encounter 3&1.

Fifty members took part in the annual Christmas Cup with John Barnett winning Cup Division 1 with 38 pts. Steve Mills was runner up with 36pts and Roger Barnes in third place also with 36pts. The Division 2 winner, on count back, was John Arrowsmith with 36pts, Tony Haile was runner up and John Harper in third place on 34pts.
