Ross Juniors U8 Colts resumed fixtures on grass following the end of the futsal campaign, with a trip to Hereford Sports Club to play Westfield Juniors on Saturday, March 7.

The boys put in an excellent display from start to finish defending and pressing well along with some impressive attacking play. Despite Westfields being a ‘bigger’ side the boys got stuck in, breaking up opposition play and putting them under pressure.

George opened the scoring before Harry and Luke got on the scoresheet, all goals created by some excellent teamwork.

George was awarded Man of the match for a strong defensive display as well as his goal. Westfield had a few chances with Alfie pulling off some fine saves, before he was finally beaten by a high thunderbolt from a Westfield player.
