AN unbeaten half century from opener Andrew Brown helped hosts Goodrich take bragging rights over derby visitors Ross CC in an entertaining midweek Forest Hundred clash.
Sixth man Laurence Cocking fired 32 for Ross, backed by 27 from skipper Josh Element, 18 for Albert Johnson and 12 for Ben Element as they reached 116-6 off their 100 balls, with Jack Lewis taking three wickets and Neil Price two.
Brown then gave Goodrich a flying start scoring 51 before retiring not out, but Ben Element with four wickets and one for Josh had the hosts reeling until seventh man Simon Sharpe with 23 not out and tailenders Jack Lewis with an unbeaten 13 and William Kelsall with 10 saw them to 122-6 with four balls to spare.
On Sunday, Goodrich also won one and lost one at home in the Worcestershire Sunday Slam group stages, another 100-ball competition.
They lost by 39 runs to Rushwick who reached 191-5, before responding with 152-6, Sam Griffiths with 29, Chris Tookey 27 and Ayrton Lowther 20.
But they saw off Bromyard's 121-2 target with 15 balls to spare reaching 122-3, Matt Young with 38 and Griffiths with an unbeaten 37.
Meanwhile, in one of the few games to survive Saturday's rain, Aston Ingham 1st XI's Gloucestershire One title charge continued with a thumping 180-run win at Chipping Camden.
The visitors scored 280-5 off their 45 overs, Anthony James firing a magnificent 124 that included 19 fours and a six, backed by Angust Bartlett with 57, Oliver Henson 35 and Dharzekanth Yoganadan 32.
And the hosts had no answer to the Aston attack, all out for 100 in reply in the 28th over with Bartlett and Dan Smith taking three wickets each and Toby O'Neill two.
