Aston Ingham First XI fell to Cheltenham Civil Service CC by seven wickets. 

Aston, having been put into bat, were bowled out for 110 in just over 30 overs. Key contributions came from Angus Bartlett, who scored 33, and Anthony James with 21, but the rest of the lineup struggled against a disciplined Cheltenham attack. 

Cheltenham Civil Service made light work of the modest target, reaching 114 for 3 in 27.3 overs. Despite a solid start from George Leadbetter and Sam Excell, it was the unbeaten partnership of Robbie Baker and Craig Baker that guided their team to victory. 

Aston’s bowlers fought hard, with Angus Bartlett claiming two wickets, but it was not enough to prevent Cheltenham from sealing the win. 

Aston find themselves at the top of the Gloucestershire County Cricket League Division One, despite the recent defeat. With 53 points from 13 matches, they hold a narrow lead over Thornbury, who are second with 48 points. 

Aston Second XI secured a convincing 38-run victory over Stanway Cricket Club First XI. 

Batting first, Aston set a challenging total of 191 from their 40 overs. Dave Lacey and Tim Dulson were the standout performers, with Lacey scoring 59 and Dulson adding 57. 

Stanway's bowlers, particularly Chris White with three wickets and Aaron Brown with two, tried to stem the flow of runs but were unable to halt the Aston innings. 

Stanway struggled to respond against a disciplined Aston attack, finishing their innings on 153 all out. 

Will Green was the star with the ball, taking six wickets for 29 runs, supported well by Ethan Drew-White and Luke Ward. 

Aston's bowlers delivered an effective performance to ensure a well-deserved win. 

Aston Thirds faced a six-wicket defeat against Penallt & Redbrook First XI. 

They set a target of 195 for 5 from their 40 overs. Leo Lockwood top-scored with 66, and Jordy Luis remained not out on 57. Contributions from Edward Bell and Clyde Breetzke also added valuable runs. 

However, Penallt & Redbrook's bowlers, particularly Ross Williams with four wickets, kept the score within reach. They achieved the target with relative ease, reaching 196 for 4. 

Despite Colin Leighton's three-wicket haul, Aston couldn’t halt Penallt & Redbrook's steady progress. 

In a commanding display, Aston Fourths secured a convincing 36-run victory over Ruardean Hill Seconds. 

Aston posted a formidable total of 223 for 3. The standout performance came from Evans, who delivered an impressive 96 runs off 128 balls, supported well by Kelsall with 39 and Waterhouse, who added nine runs. Their total was bolstered by a substantial 39 extras. 

Kelsall claimed four wickets for just 18 runs, and Scudamore added two crucial wickets. The bowling effort was well-supported by Cluley and Carini, who each maintained tight lines and kept the opposition under pressure. 

Ruardean Hill struggled to keep pace with the required run rate despite a valiant innings from White, who scored 76 off 102 balls. Ruardean Hill managed 187 for 8, falling short of the target.
