ASTON Ingham Cricket Club's first XI secured a victory by five wickets against Cirencester Cricket Club's first XI. After choosing to field, Aston effectively restricted Cirencester to 119 all out in just 25 overs. 

Key contributions came from Raife Hackett and Charlie Brook. Hackett scored a brisk 29 off 19 balls, including four boundaries and a six, while Brook added 32 from 40 deliveries. 

Cirencester struggled against a disciplined bowling attack. Alexander Gooding stood out with four wickets for 22 runs, and Dan Smith was also crucial with three wickets for just 12 runs. 

Aston's chase was characterised by steady contributions from their batsmen. Oliver Henson led with a resilient 26 off 57 balls, and Alexander Gooding made 19 before being dismissed. 

However, it was the composed innings of Gus Carini-Roberts and Dharzekanth Yoganadan that sealed the win. Carini-Roberts remained unbeaten on 22 from 54 balls, while Yoganadan added 13 runs. 

Aston Ingham reached the target of 122 with five wickets in hand, in 33.2 overs. 

Aston’s second XI secured a decisive 62-run victory over Ullenwood Bharat Cricket Club’s second XI. Opting to bat first, they posted 195 for 7 in 40 overs. 

Will Green was exceptional, scoring an unbeaten 100 from 102 balls, including 16 fours and two sixes. 

Simon Clark led the attack with four wickets for 24 runs, supported by Ethan Drew-White’s 3 for 33. 

The third XI fell short in a close match against Redmarley Cricket Club’s second XI, losing by six wickets. 

Edward Bell shone with an unbeaten 46, but the batting lineup struggled to form partnerships, limiting their total score. 

Redmarley chased down the target with relative ease, reaching 186 for 4 in 37.3 overs. 

The fourth XI secured a convincing six-wicket win over Bream Cricket Club’s second XI after a strong chase. 

Bream struggled against a disciplined Aston bowling attack, with Charlie Lorton and Jenson Arrowsmith each claiming three wickets. Bream was all out for 127. 

In reply, Aston reached 133 for 4 in just 16.2 overs. The chase was driven by a quick-fire 46 not out from Michael Cluley.
