Llangrove CE Academy recently welcomed into their school Teresa Williams and Kate Williams from Ross-on-Wye Bowls Club. Kate, who also represents England, gave Years 2 and 3 an insight into the sport. The children had a very enjoyable afternoon practicing their bowling technique, and using their mathematical skills to keep score on specially made “Llangrove” scorecards.

Rhian Townson, PE teacher said, “It was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to try a sport they had never played before. They all had great fun trying to score as many points as possible.”
