I was just about to write to Ross Town Council about the terrible state of Pigs Alley.

I happened to read Sally Bateman’s letter about Pigs Alley in the Ross Gazette last week (‘Alley a disgrace to town’, letters April 27) and totally agree with all her statements about Pigs Alley.

It is a disgrace, needs clearing of weeds, and the walls repainting immediately.

It does make an appalling impression to visitors to the town, not to mention local people, and is shameful.

The same can be said of the facilities at the Crofts: the doors need re-painting immediately, and interior improved, and it needs attention very soon, as does Pigs Alley.
