THE Ross-on-Wye youth club reopened last week following its closure last October due to anti-social behaviour.
The youth club, based at the Venue in on Hill Street, is run by the Basement Youth Trust which states that it has been supported by local police in getting the facility re-opened.
The trust said that it operates a code of conduct to ensure respectful behaviour inside the club and those who breach this code are subjected to temporary bans.
However, a small minority refused to comply with the rules and the trustees felt they had no option but to close the facility in October.
The police have since issued known troublemakers with anti-social behaviour warning letters and will be working with the trustees to help keep the club running long-term.
