Heavy rain is expected to hit Herefordshire this afternoon and tomorrow, Saturday, October 26th

Higher areas are expected to have up to four inches of rain but even lowland parts of Herefordshire may see up to two inches (50mm), some of it very intense.

The Environment Agency has reported that there may be a significant amount of surface water and if the forecast amounts of rain arrives they will be issuing a number of flood alerts and warnings across the county through the course of the weekend.
