The Year Six pupils at Gorsley Goffs Primary School are feeling a mix of emotions as they enjoy their last few weeks at the Primary School. The soon-to-be secondary school pupils have finished all of their end of year assessments and officially leave Gorsley Goffs Primary School this week, on July 18th, and many are looking forward to a long summer break before September.

The pupils are going to a variety of local schools. One pupil, who told the Ross Gazette she was excited and nervous to start a new school, said: “It’s amazing how quickly the time has gone - I still remember my first year here. It will be strange not seeing some of my friends every day but I will always keep in touch with them.”

A spokesperson for Gorsley Goffs Primary School told the Ross Gazette that they will miss every one of them, and wish all of the children the very best of success for their future as they shortly embark on a new chapter in their lives.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
