LOCAL Primary Schools have been welcoming the BBC’s Pudsey Bear to talk to them about Children In Need.
The Ross Gazette caught up with the iconic bear at Walford Primary School on Friday morning and saw Pudsey delight the pupils as he arrived assisted by members of Ross Rotary Club. Pudsey had already been to four other schools in the area earlier in the week.
A Rotarian said that the most common question was how tall is Pudsey? The answer being two metres, and why was he wearing the bandanna? To which the children were told that there was nothing wrong with his eye, except that he was a bear in need.
Ross Rotary said that around £1,000 was raised for Children In Need this year.
