ST MARY’S Church was the perfect setting for The Ross Choristers' recent Medley Christmas Concert.

Conductor, Laurie Pengrum, steered the choir through a varied programme of festive pieces with Brian Jackson skilfully hosting the occasion in his inimitable style.

In Pat Hughes, Pat Williams and Josie O'Driscoll the choir has three fine soprano soloists and their individual contributions were rapturous received by the audience.

Comedy was added to proceedings with Claire Price's amusing take on the 12 days of Christmas.

Jean Brown's raffle hampers raised £416 and combine with the proceeds from the event, a very substantial amount will be donated to support the voluntary work of the Friends of Ross Hospital.
