Ross Tennis Centre Mens 'B' team were in action on Sunday, January 11th, against local rivals Ledbury in warm but blustery conditions.

Despite not having played a competitive match for over a month, the home side looked sharp from the very first point.

Playing as the first pair for Ross, Jamie Farr and Richard Jones wasted little time in dispatching Ledbury's first pair, 6 - 1, 6 - 3.

Dan Thomas and Tim Barnard, playing at number two for Ross, also looked in imperious form defeating their opposition 6 - 2, 6 - 2.

The same pattern continued after the changeover, Jamie and Richard beating the oppositions second couple 6 - 1, 6 - 2, and Dan and Tim completed the whitewash with an emphatic 6 - 2, 6 - 0, victory against Ledbury's top pairing.

This 4 - 0 win resulted in the Ross team taking the maximum 5 points.
