Sharon Neville and her team at Perfect Measure in Ross-on-Wye are celebrating their 20th anniversary on September 24th.

Sharon told the Ross Gazette that she took over Perfect Measure, based in New Street, in 1996. She built up the business on her own and over the years she has gone on to bring in more members of staff; Nicki, Kath, Linda and Angie make up Sharon’s friendly team.

Since opening 20 years ago, and expanding the team, Sharon has also introduced a wider range of treatments; there is an extensive range of hair and beauty treatments available at the salon, including hair styling, manicures, waxing, microdermabrasion facials, laser removal and tattoo removal.

The newest treatments on offer are cryotherapy which is skin tag, wart and verucca removal, and is administered by Sharon, and reflexology, which is administered by Angie, the salon’s beauty therapist.

When Sharon took over Perfect Measure in September 1996, she said she sometimes found herself waiting around for customers to come in, but now the salon is usually fully-booked.

The salon is child and dog friendly, and Sharon told the Gazette that members of the team are happy to hold babies and entertain dogs, while their clients enjoy a much-earned pamper session.

She added that the team at Perfect Measure don’t just cater for females, as they have many male customers who come in to have their hair cut, or to enjoy one of the many treatments on offer.

Sharon and the team have been proud to support various charity events in the community. They have been hairdressers when local children have had their hair cut for the Little Princess Trust, and they have also carried out hair shaves for charity. The salon raised approximately £800 last year for various causes.

Over 20 years, the team at Perfect Measure have built up a fantastic reputation for being a welcoming, friendly place which has attracted a very loyal customer base. Sharon added that their clients will frequently call in to the salon for a chat and a coffee if they’ve got some spare time.

As a thank you to their customers, the team at Perfect Measure will be holding an anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 24th from 1pm until 3pm, where they will be providing fizz and food. All of their clients are very welcome to attend.
