Robin Townsend, who lives in Ross-on-Wye, is one of the owners of The Cotswold Production Company Limited - a local TV and film company which is currently producing a 13 episode mainstream TV series called ‘Conditions’.

A renowned English stage, film and television actress, Fenella Fielding, who died on September 11th, 2018, at the age of 90, will make her last professional television appearance in ‘Conditions’, when it airs in 2019.

Popular in the 1950s and 1960s and known as “England’s first lady of the double entendre”, Fenella was famous for her seductive image and distinctively husky voice. Her last piece of professional work will be a voiceover part, which was recorded for ‘Conditions’ earlier this year.

Robin, who is producing the TV series, told the Ross Gazette: “It was an absolute joy to work with her. We drove around London and she took me to her favourite place for lunch and reminisced about stories of Morcambe and Wise and she even told me to try her favourite Pink Drink at the Baftas. She was as cool as ever.” He added:?“It is sad that she has gone and I am honoured to have worked with her on this series. My thoughts are with her family and friends.”
