The Friday Lunch Club is a social interaction group for the over 75’s who meet weekly for lunch, activities and company and are currently based at The Larruperz Centre in Ross every Friday 12 - 2 . Our ethos is very much all about family and we welcome all of our members every week with a cheery smile! The group currently has 35 - 40 regular weekly members and we all look out for each other. The cost is £9.00 per week for a two course home cooked lunch by the in house chef Katie and also includes refreshments, treats and a weekly activity after lunch is served.

We recently appealed on Facebook to our local community for donations and help with our weekly costs and we wanted to say thank you to all of the local members of our community who have assisted us by donating a £1 a week donation to “sponsor a chair”. This involves donating £1 a week as a sponsorship for one of our 40 members to help subsidise meal costs and venue hire charges . Our members are eternally gratefully to those who are sponsoring us and this means that our weekly group remains affordable and accessible to all our members.
