More than 60 local businesses supported the first event that the Forest of Dean group, Local Business Showcase, organised at Bishopswood House on Wednesday, June 12th.

Hundreds of visitors took the opportunity to see a great selection of creative and interesting small businesses, which they may not have known existed, right on their doorstep.

Visitors were able to enjoy hot dogs supplied by Tim Hanks the butcher, who is based in Ross-on-Wye, get up close to wildlife and even have a go at laser clay pigeon shooting.

There was a huge selection of stalls ranging from handmade lamp shades to pet portraits, microblading, clothing and much more.

There was an amazing raffle with loads of prizes, the first ticket was free for anyone who attended and all proceeds going to support the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.
