Year 10 and 11 students at John Kyle High School have raised more than £2,000 towards their upcoming sports tour to South Africa.
On the Rewards Day celebration, before half term, the students held a “Pie the Teacher” and a bake sale which raised an impressive £500.
The school sends a special thank you to Morrisons supermarket for donating the squirt cream for the pies and Easter eggs for the raffle. They also thank Ross Post Office for providing a last minute float, which ensured the event ran smoothly.
This week, the pupils have held a bingo evening which over 150 people attended and raised more than £1,500 through bingo tickets, raffle prizes and donations.
