Mayor Harry Bramer’s Charity Ball was held on Saturday 23rd March 2019 at the Chase Hotel, and 80 Civic Guests attended including Mayors from Hereford, Gloucester, Cinderford, Bromyard, Ludlow and the Chairmen of Herefordshire County Council and Monmouthshire County Council and Forest of Dean District Council.
This was in support of the Charity Papyrus which seeks to prevent young suicides.
Various local businesses including Jewellers H E Phillips , Pengethley Garden Centre and trainer Michael Scudamore, and many other Ross High Street stores, donated prizes for auction on the evening. This amounted to a sum of nearly £2500 for the Mayor’s charity.
The party were entertained by Meet on the Ledge who were playing party music.
