Rub-A-Dub-Dub on Brookend Street in Ross-on-Wye was one of many donation points participating in Sunshine Radio’s Christmas Toy Appeal this year.

Sunshine Radio have been appealing for people in the two counties to buy a toy and drop it off at one of the many collection points across Herefordshire and Monmouthshire, in order to help under-privileged children.

Rub-A-Dub-Dub received many donations, and were humbled to be a part of the Toy Appeal. They said that someone even came from Gloucester specifically to donate, as he did not have a collection point near him. Sunshine Radio Managing Director, Ginny Murfin, collected the donations from Rub-A-Dub-Dub on Monday, December 18th.

Over £20,000 worth of toys were donated in total this year, and Sunshine Radio have already visited and dropped off many to a number of charities, including the Children’s Ward at Hereford Hospital.

The Toy Appeal is supporting a number of charities, including Hope House and Phoenix Bereavement.
