The Ross Parishes has unveiled an engaging line-up of events for the upcoming week, ensuring there's something for everyone in the community.
Daily, there will be a Zoom Morning Prayer at 9 am, allowing parishioners to connect and reflect from the comfort of their homes.
On Tuesday, from 9 am to 11 am, St Mary’s Hall will host the 'Tea and Toast and Community Larder' event. Additionally, the 'Just B Bereavement Support Group' will convene at St Mary’s at 2.30 pm. This support group meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month, with the next session scheduled for 26th September.
Parents and toddlers are in for a treat as 'Toddle and Toast' at St Mary’s is set to restart on Wednesday, 6th September, at 8.45 am. Concurrently, from 11 am to 12.30 pm, the Craft Group will gather at St Mary’s on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. For those seeking spiritual reflection, the 'Ponder and Pray' session will be held on Zoom at 11.15 am, with the next date being 6th September.
Thursday promises a mix of spirituality and creativity. At 3.30 pm, families can attend the 'Messy Church' at St Mary’s, which takes place on the first Thursday of every month. This is followed by a 10 am Eucharist service at St Mary’s and a 11.45 am Thursday Prayer Group on Zoom.
The week culminates on Sunday, 27th August, with a series of services at St Mary’s, starting with an 8 am BCP Communion Service. At 9.30 am, there will be a live-streamed Sung Eucharist, and at 10.30 am, Walford will host a Family Service. The day concludes with a 6 pm Evening Prayer at St Mary’s.
