All of the five pence coins that customers have been paying for shopping bags have been collected from all of the departments at Ross Labels to contribute to this amount. It was also boosted by a fashion show in June, 2018, which raised funds through ticket sales, donations, and a raffle.
Imogen told the Ross Gazette: “A big thank you to everybody who has donated money. It is amazing to not only have helped an important charity, but a local charity that helps all of the people who work and spend time at Ross Labels, as well as the wider community.”
The money was also raised through donation pots by each till where customers could donate.
Jill told the Ross Gazette: “Thank you to all of the staff at Labels and to all of the people who shop here and have made a donation. We are very grateful.
