Ross-on-Wye has helped to raise more than £70,000 and reached the top 10 in the country following the recent Bag It - Bank It recycling campaign.

The town came seventh, helping to raise £70,322 from 319 tonnes of recycling.

A spokesperson for Ross Fire Station said: "Well done everyone - the results of the “Bag It - Bank It” recycling campaign are in and Ross was the seventh top performing bank in the UK. Thanks so much for your support!"
